How to Apply

Here are some general guidelines and a checklist to get you started.

Once you have chosen the department(s) to which you would like to apply, and gathered all the required documents such as transcripts from all current and previous schools, test scores, and letters of recommendation, you should be ready to begin the application process. You may apply online or you may print and mail an application. Once you have submitted the application (via online or mail) you just have a few more steps to complete the process.

When you apply to a University of Arizona degree seeking program you will need to send official transcripts and all other supporting documents to the department you intend to study with. If you apply to more than one program, you will need to send official transcripts and all supporting documents to each department you are seeking admission to. Check with your intended department(s) for their application requirements. Failure to mail your supporting documents promptly or sending incomplete information can delay the processing of your application.

The following checklist will help guide you through "How to Apply." Remember to send items to the appropriate office.
