Preparation for Graduate Study
If you are a prospective UA graduate student, we are prepared to speak with you individually to help you identify graduate programs and potential faculty mentors whose research is aligned with your research interests. Fill out our prospective student web form to get that conversation started or call 520.626.0095. We also meet with prospective students at career fairs in the Southwest, West, and Puerto Rico, as well as at conferences such as SACNAS, ABRCMS, AISES, and the California Diversity Forums.
When you are ready to apply for admission to the University of Arizona, you'll find tremendous resources available to you on this Graduate College web site. If you are affiliated with an approved sponsored program, you may qualify for an application fee waiver.
There are a number of prestigious institutional, national, and private scholarships and fellowships available to support you and your educational goals. In many cases, these is no separate application for you to complete; we work closely with UA departments and centers to identify top candidates for these awards.
