Writing Skills Improvement Program
The Writing Skills Improvement Program (WSIP) assists minority and economically disadvantaged students to improve their writing skills and achieve academic success at the University of Arizona. WSIP offers a series of free Weekly Writing Workshops and one-on-one tutoring is available.
The Graduate Writing Institute
A three-week (June) intensive writing program for graduate students focusing on writing projects, theses, and dissertation work. The Writing Institute will answer your most pressing writing questions, focus on research papers, theses, or dissertations, and you will obtain tools crucial for academic success.
Graduate Writing Resource
The Graduate Writing Resource is a web based tool. It helps students, answer academic writing questions, including 14 topics of interest to most graduate students, with a page showing the links from topic to topic.
Tutor Fund
The Graduate College makes available funds for tutoring that may provide academic support to underrepresented graduate students for academic success in a graduate program.
Travel Fund - Travel Funds are not available at this time. Consider applying to the GPSC Travel Fund.
The Graduate College provides travel funds to underrepresented graduate students to present invited papers or posters at professional meetings, conferences, and symposia that are directly related to their educational development.
Final Project Fund
The Final Project Fund provides support directly to underrepresented graduate students engaged in research (thesis or dissertation) or other creative activities required to complete a graduate degree under the sponsorship of a faculty member. Students underrepresented in their field of study, enrolled in a graduate degree program, and in good academic standing are eligible to apply.
