To be eligible for the free Graduate College GRE Workshop, you must:

• Be a United States Citizen, Permanent Resident or be in Refugee status
• Have a 3.0 grade point average or above
• Plan to apply to graduate school for admission to the fall academic session
• Register to take the GRE within three weeks following the end of the Prep workshop (proof of registration will be required)

Note: preference will be given to participants in the following programs:

• Summer Research Institute (SRI)
• Minority Access to Research Careers (MARC)
• Minority Health Disparities Research Opportunities Program (MHD)
• McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program (MAP)

OR
 

• students who are low-income (defined as Pell Grant eligible), first generation (neither parent graduated from college), and/or minority (Hispanic, African American, Asian American/Pacific Islander, or Native American).
