Provisioning Faculty and Staff Access to GradPath and Provisioning for Admissions Contact

For Graduate Coordinators:

Who should have this role?

Academic Program personnel, typically the Graduate Program Coordinator, who need access to approve/ deny GradPath forms and the ability to run the Master's completion process. This is a required role for all department Graduate Coordinators to allow them to work with GradPath. This role is not appropriate for personnel who need only access to the Graduate Admissions process.

  1. Go to the UAccess Provisioning Tool
  2. If you do not yet have any UAccess permissions, you will first need to click on “Training and Useful Links” to complete both the FERPA tutorial and UAccess User Access Agreement
    1. If you have access you can check wither you have already done the Security Awareness and FERPA trainings by going to UAccess, clicking on the link to Analytics, selecting the "My Analytics" dashboard, selecting "Security", and clicking on the "Prereqs" tab
    2. If you need to sign up for FERPA training please go to FERPA training
  3. From the UAccess Provisioning Tool page please click on “New Access Request”
  4. Under "What do you want to do?" click on "Add/Modify"
  5. Under "Add Access for (Select users)" please enter the name or NETID of the person who needs provisioning, select the correct person.
  6. Under “Select ALP Approver” select the right person to approve your request.
  7. Under "Select Category" click on UAccess Student and select Campus Users
  8. Under "What Access Required" select "Graduate College"
  9. Under "Permission" select "Grad Coordinator"
  10. Click the "Add to List" button
  11. Under "Business Justification" enter a brief explanation of your need for this permission (e.g. “New Graduate Coordinator”)
  12. Click the "Submit" button
  13. A message will appear that shows it was successfully completed.

For Faculty Approvers and Directors of Graduate Studies:

  1. Go to the UAccess Provisioning Tool
  2. If you do not yet have any UAccess permissions, you will first need to click on “Training and Useful Links” to complete both the FERPA tutorial and UAccess User Access Agreement.

  10. Click the "Add to List" button
  11. Under "Business Justification" enter a brief explanation of your need for this permission (e.g. “New Director of Graduate Studies”)
  12. Click the "Submit" button
  13. A message will appear that shows it was successfully completed.

 

For those who only want to be listed as Admissions Contact on Graduate Catalog:

Who should have this role?

Academic Program personnel who wish to be listed as the Admissions Contact for their program on the Graduate Catalog. This role does not confer access to the application system GradApp. Those who need access to GradApp can go to separate instructions.

  1. Go to the UAccess Provisioning Tool
  2. If you do not yet have any UAccess permissions, you will first need to click on “Training and Useful Links” to complete both the FERPA tutorial and UAccess User Access Agreement
    1. If you have access you can check wither you have already done the Security Awareness and FERPA trainings by going to UAccess, clicking on the link to Analytics, selecting the "My Analytics" dashboard, selecting "Security", and clicking on the "Prereqs" tab
    2. If you need to sign up for FERPA training please go to FERPA training
  3. From the UAccess Provisioning Tool page please click on “Submit New, Approve, and Monitor Requests AccessFlow.”
  4. Click on “New Access Request”
  5. Under "Add Access for (Select users)" please enter the name of the person who needs provisioning, select the correct person.
  6. Under “Select ALP Approver” select the right person to approve your request.
  7. Under "Select Category" click on UAccess Student and select Campus Users
  8. Under "What Access Required" select "Graduate College"
  9. Under "Permission" select "Grad College Dept Admissions Rep"
  10. Click the "Add to List" button
  11. Under "Business Justification" enter a brief explanation of your need for this permission (e.g. “New Admissions Contact”)
  12. Click the "Submit" button
  13. A message will appear that shows it was successfully completed.
