Other Requirements for Successful Completion of the Program

Applications are processed when all materials required by both the Graduate College and the Division of Teacher Education have been received. The materials are then forwarded to the Master's in Secondary Education Program Coordinator who evaluates the applicant's credentials and recommends either: 1) an interview with the pre-professional interview committee, or 2) denial depending on the strength of the applicant's academic credentials.

Once a prospective applicant meets with the pre-professional interview committee, the committee will recommend whether 1) full or provisional admission to the program, or 2) denial depending on the strength of the applicant's academic credentials.

Once admitted, schedule an appointment and meet with your faculty advisor to develop your program of study and register for classes. You must meet with your advisor every semester prior to registering for classes.
