Annual Graduate and Professional Education Teaching and Mentoring Awards

October 26, 2012

The Graduate College is pleased to issue a Call for Nominations of awards to acknowledge faculty and professionals who excel in their teaching and mentoring of graduate students.  The list of awardees now extends over a decade and the achievements of the nominees continue to impress at the highest levels of excellence.

Two such awards will be given.  Each winner will receive a check for $2500.00, a medallion and plaque, as well as have their photograph posted on the Graduate College "wall of fame."

All nomination packets are due on Monday, January 7, 2013 and should be submitted via one pdf to TeachingandMentoring@grad.arizona.edu.  Nomination packets sent in any other format will not be accepted.  You are welcome to resubmit a nominating packet from the 2011-2012 award competition for any candidate (except a previous winner).  The two award recipients will be honored during the Awards of Distinction Reception and Ceremony in spring of 2013, along with other Provost award recipients.
