Andrew Carnie's appointment was announced by Leslie P. Tolbert, Senior Vice President for Research
Leslie P. Tolber, Senior Vice President for Research recently announced the appointment of Andrew Carnie as Interim Dean of the Graduate College.
For the past two years, Dr. Carnie has been working in the Graduate College as Faculty Director of the GIDPs. He has helped to stabilize funding for these programs and to develop mechanisms for best practices in the administration of interdisciplinary units. He will continue in his role as Director of the GIDPs as he also takes on the stewardship of the UA's graduate education enterprise as Dean of the Graduate College from now until June 30, 2013.
