Admissions Requirements
Minimum basic admission requirements for the Graduate College include the award of a bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from a college or university which grants degrees recognized by The University of Arizona. Details of "Recognized Degrees" and "Comparable Degrees" are outlined in the specific menu sections for Domestic and International Students. Beyond the award of a bachelors degree, there is a minimum grade point average (GPA) expectation of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for previous university work completed. Details of the GPA requirement can be found in the specific menu section under "GPA".
The set of requirements that prospective UA graduate students must meet in order to be admitted differ for Domestic Students and International Students.
If you are not sure whether you will be considered a Domestic or International applicant, please read both the Domestic Students and International Students pages carefully.
