You can register on My AmeriCorps and complete the enrollment form online now.
If you do not have computer access, complete and submit a hard copy of the Enrollment Form
to the Bringing Service Home Coordinator.

UA Wildcat Corps is a Recovery Act funded AmeriCorps project during the period May 1, 2009 - April 30, 2010. All hours must be completed during this time frame.

UA Employee Hiring Packet
Coordinate with Amber Johnson in the Graduate College Business office. Make an appointment to complete forms, including the I-9, if you are not already in the UA HR system. Be sure to sign up for direct deposit and paperless advices on the UA Employee Link upon hiring.
Background Check
If you are serving with children, youth or other at-risk populations a background check is required. The supervising agency is required to process the check. We can supply you with fingerprint cards and you can get prints for $5.00 at the UA PD station on Tues/Thurs. mornings til 11. You can also supply a current fingerprint card or you may keep a card on file with your site. Your host agency is responsible for the cost of the fingerprint check.
All background checks must be completed satisfactorily, and contracts must be executed and on file before you can be enrolled.
Exit Procedures
AmeriCorps Exit Form - Upon completion or termination of service, please go onto My AmeriCorps and complete your portion of the Exit Form. If you do not have computer access, download, complete and submit to the program coordinator. You will need to schedule an exit interview within the two prior to completing service. A checklist and exit interview questions are linked below.
Submit at your Exit Interview:

Excel Summary spreadsheet of your hours signed by your supervisor. You should already have turned in each monthly sheet with your supervisor's signature (see tabs at the bottom of the excel spread sheet for each month). If you have not submitted some forms, they must be turned in at this time.
Any final products or deliverables that you completed in your service (electronically if possible).
Be sure to credit AmeriCorps in any documents you produce.
My AmeriCorps - This site allows you to manage your AmeriCorps experience and to request your Segal Education award. You may register at any time after enrollment. You may not request your Segal Education Award until you have been exited from the AmeriCorps system.
Segal AmeriCorps Education Award - Upon successful completion of AmeriCorps service, you are eligible to receive a Segal Ed Award. This link provides information on how to access your award which can be used to repay student loans or for future tuition and fees for a seven year period. If you have your education award directed to the UA, please coordinate with Student Financial Aid.
