Program Description

The Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner is designed to prepare current nurse practitioners to sit for additional certificiation in the specialty.  Certificate programs are offered online, and may not be offered every academic year.  Please contact the College of Nursing for more information.

Admissions Information

Admissions Requirements

All applicants to the certificate program should review the application information on the College of Nursing's website.  Admission requirements include copies of RN licensure and other documents.  

 
Standardized Tests

We do not require any standardized tests for admission to the certificate program.

 
Financial Aid

Certificate students may not be eligible for financial aid.

 
Admissions Deadlines

Students are admitted to the certificate program once per year for an August start.  Applications open in Mid-March with deadlines in Mid-June.  Applicants are encouraged to review the information and updated deadlines on the College of Nursing website prior to submitting an application.

 
International Conditional Admission
International applicants will not be considered for conditional admission by this program.
