The Drug Discovery and Development Program does not admit students with the expressed interest in pursuing the M.S. degree. However, for a variety of reasons students admitted to the Ph.D. Program may choose to complete an M.S. degree (non-thesis option) either alongside or in lieu of a Ph.D. degree.
The College of Pharmacy offers a graduate program leading to a Doctor of Philosophy and/or a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Over twenty faculty participate in the program.
Faculty research interests are in various areas of:
(1) Drug Discovery and Development
(2) Health Pharm Outcomes Research
Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD students should meet with the Graduate Programs coordinator to add this plan.
