Graduate Student Mentoring Workshop Series

Faculty mentors play a key role in the success of graduate students. Mentoring not only pertains to academic guidance, but also the establishment of a prolonged nurturing of the student’s personal, scholarly and professional development.

Mentorship has been identified as having a major impact on graduate student retention, satisfaction and success - especially among diverse students. Therefore, and in another effort to contribute to student success, retention and timely graduation, the Graduate College is pleased to announce a workshop series on “Graduate Mentoring”.  The workshop is aimed at faculty of all ranks (junior faculty are strongly encouraged to participate), DGS and unit heads.

Please register below for each session that you are interested in attending.

Where: Animal and Comparative Biomedical Sciences Building, Room 228/Library (AKA UA building #90 formerly known as the Veterinary Science and Microbiology Building).
