Abstract Guidelines

All UROC students will be featured in a printed program at the poster session/closing ceremony on August 10, 2015. In order to prepare the printed program well ahead of time, we ask that all UROC students complete the Summer Bio Information Form by June 19, 2015.  Students in MHD, MARC, SRI, UROC-PREP, STAR, IOUNA, HOP, RiO, and B2 will also have their abstracts published online. Prepare your abstract in a word processing program such as Microsoft Word (not PDF) and send it via email attachment to Stephanie Adamson, at adamsons@email.arizona.edu no later than August 3, 2015 at 11:59 PM. Do not submit your abstract without prior approval from your primary mentor.

Abstract attachments must include

1) your name
2) the title of your project

and the following standard conventions

a) hypothesis or statement about the problem under investigation
b) statement of the experimental methods/materials used
c) results provided in summary form (even if preliminary) and
d) conclusion.

Please name your attachment using the following structure: FirstLastUROC2015Abstract, where First is your first name and Last is your last name.

Other information pertinent to your field of study may also be included at the discretion of your mentor and/or PI. There is a strict 250 word limit.  Your abstract may not include graphs or charts. Use Arial 10 point font. Every effort will be made to retain special formatting and symbols. Do not submit it without prior approval from your primary mentor.

We regret that due to strict printing deadlines, the abstract submission deadline cannot be extended beyond August 3, 2015. Please plan accordingly so that your abstract can be included.
