Community Matters To Us

The University of Arizona Graduate College is deeply committed to recruiting and retaining a talented and diverse student body.

Our Office of Diversity and Inclusion administers the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Consortium, provides academic and social support, as well as manages a variety of prestigious fellowships including The University of Arizona/Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Indigenous Graduate Partnership (UArizona/SIGP) and the NIH-funded Initiative for Maximizing Student Development (IMSD) programs.

Our Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) promotes a strong sense of community among graduate and professional students through events, socials, and workshops, including Graduate Orientation. GPSC also supports professional development and leadership through such events as Student Showcase and Grad Slam, as well as through travel, research, and project grants.
