Doctor of Philosophy
Graduate students are responsible for knowing graduate requirements of both the Gradate College and their academic departments. The Degree Certification offices maintains a list of Deadlines for Degree Completion. Other important dates are contained in The University Academic Calendar.
The University of Arizona offers five doctoral degrees: the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.), the Doctor of Public Health (D.P.H.), and the Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.). The University of Arizona also offers a first professional degree, the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). For information on the PharmD, please refer to the General Catalog.
