Doctor of Philosophy
Graduate students are responsible for knowing graduate requirements of both the Gradate College and their academic departments. The Degree Certification offices maintains a list of Deadlines for Degree Completion. Other important dates are contained in The University Master Calendar.
The University of Arizona offers four doctoral degrees: the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.), and the Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.). The University of Arizona also offers a first professional degree, the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). For information on the PharmD, please refer to the General Catalog.
