Announcing 2023 Winners of the Excellence in Graduate Teaching and Mentoring Award!

The Graduate College is delighted to announce this year's winners of the Excellence in Graduate Teaching and Mentoring Award. This is the highest award bestowed by the Graduate College for excellence in the teaching and mentoring of graduate students. We had a number of excellent nominations this year making it exceedingly difficult to select just two of the excellent faculty that support graduate education. Yet, two distinguished mentors, teachers, and scholars rose to the top. Congratulations to Professor Ana Carvalho, Spanish and Portuguese and Second Language Acquisition/Teaching and Associate Professor M. Leandro Heien, Chemistry and Biochemistry.
