Eligibility

Coverdell Fellow Requirements:

All returned Peace Corps Volunteers who satisfactorily complete their service have lifetime eligibility for Coverdell Fellows.

Satisfactory completion means you:

·         completed the full two-year tour of Peace Corps service, or the full tour minus up to 90 days if you returned home on an emergency leave;

·         were granted "Early Close of Service" or "Interrupted Service" status due to circumstances beyond your control; or

·         were medically separated as a Volunteer

UA Fellows' Requirements:

• Admission to a degree seeking program and regular academic progress
• Service to an underserved population through an internship with a minimum of 450 hours of service per 12-month period
• This includes participation in Fellows activities, presentations, and evaluation processes - approximately 50 hours per year
