The 48 unit/credit hour Evening MBA is designed for working professionals seeking to move their career forward while networking with classmates employed at the area’s most notable companies and institutions. Earn your MBA in 24 months through this lock-step, cohort based program that meets one night per week from 4pm – 10pm. One cohort meets in Tucson and one cohort meets in Phoenix. Concentrations are offered by completing two electives in either Marketing, Finance or Management Information Systems. The Eller College of Management is home to the Eller MBA program which houses the Full-Time, Evening, Online, and Executive MBA programs. With emphasis on Innovation, Application and Communication, the Eller MBA program is developing business leaders who can not only solve real world problems with a strong critical thinking framework, but also effectively communicate their solutions to a diverse group of stakeholders.
These degree programs are designed to educate students in modern scientific research methods as applied to general and specialized management problems and to prepare students for careers in education, management, or government.
In addition, the Full-Time MBA program offers a variety of dual programs. All prospective students interested in a dual-degree program option should also check with the partner department for additional admission requirements. To be considered a dual-degee candidate admission must be granted admissions to both programs. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Other requirements: Students must complete each course with a grade of C or better and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better to graduate. Only grades A-C are acceptable for the Master Plan of Study. Audit courses do not count towards the degree credit minimum nor do undergraduate classes.
