Academic Programs

We primarily support Master's degree students. Limited support is provided to students pursuing a doctoral degree, generally support is provided after completing a Master's at the University of Arizona. Support is limited to a maximum of two years.

Departments which partner with UA Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows are linked below. We will consider other programs by request (e.g. Educational Leadership, Special Education, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Photography, and the dual M.D./M.P.H. for the M.P.H. portion only). We do not support Fellows in J.D. or M.D. programs.

When applying, be sure to submit both the academic application and the Coverdell application. Do observe the deadlines of each. We are unable to waive application fees for the academic program application.

The Coverdell Fellowship is applicable for main-campus degrees only. Summer coursework is not included as part of the Fellowship's tuition reduction.

For academic application requirements, admission questions, deadlines, departmental funding, or faculty research questions, visit the Graduate College Programs of Study for the Admissions Coordinator contact for the program of interest.
