Samples and Templates
First find the correct sample to review the format, and then create your page using the template.
'Title Page' Samples
- Sample Title Page for PHD and EDD (copyrighting with major listed)
This is how your Title Page should look if you ARE copyrighting and your major is not the same as your department name. If your major's name is the same as your department name, you should not list it since it would be redundant to do so. - First locate and review the sample above that you need, and then type the template appropriately.
- Save it to your computer.
- To insert your page into your WORD file:
- Right click up in the menu area
- Click on 'FORMS' to show the 'Forms' tool bar
- Click on the padlock icon at the far right to unlock your page
- Select the text and copy the page to where you need it to be
- Now you can format it to match the rest of your document
- Margins are: top: 2.5, left: 1.5, bottom: 1.5 right: 1.0
