GATO is a one-day orientation program designed to acquaint first-time TAs at the University of Arizona with ABOR (Arizona Board of Regents) teaching requirements.  The orientation program focuses on learner-centered teaching methodology and culturally responsive teaching strategies.  The program is offered at the beginning of each semester.
