Graduate Assistants in Teaching ORIENTATION (GATO)
GATO is a half-day orientation program designed to acquaint first-time TAs at the University of Arizona with ABOR (Arizona Board of Regents) teaching requirements. The orientation program focuses on learner-centered teaching methodology and culturally responsive teaching strategies. The program is offered at the beginning of each semester.

The next GATO will be January 11th 2010, from 1pm to 5:30pm, at a location to be determined.
