The Graduate Teaching and Mentoring Awards are the highest honor presented by the Graduate College in recognition of distinguished graduate teaching and mentoring. Deadline for submission is January 14, 2022.

The Graduate College is pleased to announce the recipients of the prestigious Marshall Foundation Dissertation Fellowship and the Dr. Maria Teresa Velez Marshall Dissertation Scholarship for final-phase dissertation support. In addition to a stipend from the Louise F. Marshall Foundation and the Graduate College, each student will receive student health insurance for the term of the award and a Graduate Tution Scholarships for up to 2 semesters.

Annually, the Graduate College recognizes excellence in graduate teaching and mentorship at the University of Arizona. More than ever, we need to come together as a community to celebrate achievements in graduate education. As a member of our graduate community, we ask you to nominate faculty and teaching professionals who excel in their teaching and mentoring of graduate and professional students.
In recognition of the significant challenges posed by Covid 19 with regard to completion of coursework, research, and fine and performing arts requirements, the Graduate College has extended the final submission deadline for Fall 2020 for the completion of Graduate Certificates, Master’s and Doctoral Degrees. All graduate program requirements must be met and submitted to the Graduate College by January 12, 2021. This includes course completion, Master’s Completion Reports, and/or the submission of final Doctoral Dissertation or other Doctoral Project (DMA, DNP).
