Degree and Certificate students that have been admitted, but are not able to enroll for their intended semester, may be able to defer enrollment for up to one year.
Students must contact the department to which they applied and must remember that admission to a specific term does not guarantee admission to subsequent terms. Students are subject to departmental admission review for the new semester. Students must work closely with the Graduate Coordinator in their department to complete the deferral process.
The defer option can only be used once per admitted application. Non-Degree Seeking students are not eligible for deferral, a new application/fee is required if no enrollment is completed.
