In addition to the requirements that each department sets for their individual programs, graduate students must meet specific Graduate College's degree requirements for the type of degree being sought.
Please note that the Graduate College does not permit a person who already holds a master's degree to pursue a second master's degree in the same discipline, nor does the Graduate College permit a person who holds a Ph.D. to pursue a second Ph.D.
